Run the installer

Open lanaudio-…-windows-x64-setup.exe from your Downloads. It installs for your account only, with no administrator password.

Tell Windows it's OK

If a blue box says Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for new apps that haven't built up a reputation yet.

When lanaudio first opens, Windows Firewall may ask whether it can use the network. Allow it on private networks, or computers won't find each other.

Send or listen

Sending: pick All sound on this computer and press Start sending. That sends everything you hear: your DAW, browser or music player.

Listening: click the sender's name. In OBS, add Application Audio Capture → [lanaudio.exe]. For Zoom, Teams or a DAW, install the free VB-CABLE, then pick CABLE Input in lanaudio and CABLE Output as the microphone in the other app.
