Built on open source.
The lanaudio audio device (Mac)
The virtual audio device that lanaudio installs on a Mac is built from BlackHole by Existential Audio, under the GNU General Public License v3. We changed its name, identifiers and channel count.
Its complete source, with our build script, is published with every release: download the source for the current version. Each entry in the changelog links to the source for that version.
The MP3 encoder
Listening in a browser and Go live use LAME 3.100 to make MP3, under the GNU Library General Public License. It ships beside the app as its own library file (libmp3lame), which you can replace with your own build.
Its source, with our build scripts, is published with every release: download the source for the current version.
The app
lanaudio is built with Tauri, cpal and other open-source Rust libraries, each under its own license (mostly MIT or Apache-2.0).
Typefaces
Archivo (The Archivo Project Authors) and IBM Plex Mono (IBM), both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
